DC and Warner Brothers may be looking for a new Superman, because the word is that Henry Cavill is OUT.

Sources say talks broke down for Cavill to do a cameo in "Shazam!" over a scheduling conflict, and since there may not be another Superman movie for a few years, he's basically going to age out of the role.

Plus, with Ben Affleck possibly done playing Batman, the studio could be looking to reboot both characters but Warner Brothers released a statement saying they have a "great relationship" with Cavill, and no decisions have been made.

Cavill's management Tweeted, quote, "Be peaceful, the cape is still in his closet.  Warner Brothers has been and continues to be our partners as they evolve the DC Universe."

Still, there's already talk of possible replacements, including "Black Panther" star Michael B. Jordan.

Cavill has played Superman in three movies:  "Man of Steel" in 2013, "Batman v. Superman" in 2016, and "Justice League"last year.
