Red Heart with Helping Hands around it

Its in our human nature to help those in need especially in our community.  The Valley Fire is still moving and many are already affected and quite possibly more will be.

If your looking to help those in your community here are some ways you can.

The San Diego Regional Disaster Fund:  They are working with local officials and emergency response organizations to help in the recovery.  You can make a donation by clicking HERE.

The American Red Cross of the Southern California Region:

They are operating temporary evaucation sites - Steele Canyon High School and El Capitan High School.  Volunteers are helping provide food, drinks and supplies to families.

If you can help with a donation you can call the Red Cross by phone at 800-Red-Cross  or through their website HERE.

The San Diego County Department of Animal Services:

They are helping care for small animals at the Bonita Animal Shelter.  If you want to volunteer you can click HERE.

Monetary donations are accepted as well and you can send those directly to the shelter.   If you want to help with pet supplies you can click this HERE.
