Last week, I was lucky enough to visit Disney's Aulani Resort in Ko Olina on Oahu, Hawaii to broadcast live for a couple of days -- and let me tell you, this resort lives up to all the Disney magic!

This content is sponsored by Disney and San Diego County Credit Union.

There's no shortage of amazing and fun food to try at Disney Aulani, whether you're looking for a fancy meal or quick bite to eat, or even just a Mickey shaped dessert. Here's some of our picks for what to eat at the resort!

MICKEY SHAVE ICE
Where to find it: Pāpālua Shave Ice

Not only is the shave ice here delicious and refreshing for the warm weather, they are Mickey shaped! You get to choose up to three flavors, and they have everything from traditional Hawaiian fruit flavors like lilikoi and guava, to watermelon, and my personal favorite, ROOT BEER!

DOLE WHIP
Where to find it: Little 'Opihi's Beachside Kiosk

Does it get better than Pineapple Dole Whip? At Disney Aulani, it does! They have several flavors to try, including the original Pineapple, Passion Orange, and Guava. If you get your Dole Whip at the beachside stand, it comes in a whole hollowed out pineapple — which is frozen to keep your Dole Whip from melting too fast.

KA WA'A LU'AU
Where to find it: Be sure to reserve your spot at the Lu'au in advance!

Experience an exhilarating and enchanting journey through Hawaiian history—and discover its deep cultural roots in canoe (waʻa) exploration, which brought the first ancient explorers to the shores of Ko Olina. Luau dinner is served buffet style, with the star of the show being the whole roasted Hawaiian raised suckling pig.

BEACH OR POOLSIDE GRAB & GO
Where to find it: Ulu Cafe

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat so you can get back to your fun, Ulu Cafe has something for everyone. At breakfast, you can get a variety of fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches with egg & bacon, or a refreshing acai bowl loaded with fresh fruit and granola. Or if you’re feeling a little adventurous, try the Taro bagel sandwich! It’s a vegetarian option with fresh avocado, tomato, lettuce, and pickles. Not only is it delicious, the bagel is PURPLE! For lunch and dinner, you’ll find poke bowls (a Hawaiian specialty, which you’ll love if you enjoy sushi), flat breads, sandwiches, and more.

FINE DINING
Where to find it: 'AMA'AMA Contemporary Island Cooking

This is the spot for fine dining at Disney’s Aulani. Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you’re planning to visit for dinner, tables fill up quickly around sunset as the restaurant has a stunning view overlooking the beach.

POOLSIDE DINING
Where to find it: Off The Hook Poolside Bar

The Off The Hook poolside bar is the best place to grab a drink and sit down for a casual bite to eat. They offer a variety of tropical drinks, including a Fresh Pineapple mule, a twist on the usual vodka & ginger beer combo. On the food menu, you can get a burger, fries, tacos, and much more. Our picks? Try the Catch Of The Day Fish Tacos or the onion rings, which come with jalapeño ranch.

FISH & CHIPS
Where to find it: Mama's Snack Stop

The fish and chips were bomb, the fish is fried to a perfect crispy golden brown and the portion is large enough to keep you fueled all day at the pool or the beach.
