With a smoke plume that can be seen from San Diego County, a fast-moving brush fire has burned at least one structure and is threatening other developed areas in a mountainous area of Orange County this afternoon.

The 'Holy Fire' began about 1:30pm around Holy Jim Canyon and Trabuco Creek Road in the Cleveland National Forest.

The fire has grown quickly to over 700 acres, burning west of Lake Elsinore and north of Highway 74, Ortega Highway.

The fire is burning away from populated Orange County areas at this time. The small community of Holy Jim was asked to evacuate out of precaution.

Cal Fire is assisting, no estimate of containment is available.
