San Diego Rescues Animals In Search Of Homes

Adopt An Animal From Hurricane Harvey

August 30, 2017

Animals from Louisana and Texas were transported on Monday to the San Diego area who had to face the repercussions of Hurricane Harvey. Although taken from their families, this is the best option for the pets without homes looking to be adopted. We have people on their way to help rescue these animals while they are also being taken to a safe place.

The Houston police said on Monday morning that they have already made at least 2,000 rescues in the city.

Many places in time of disaster look to San Diego to help. There are a few adoption places for these pets to go at the time: San Diego Humane Society, Rancho Coastal Humane Society, and Labradors and Friends Rescue.

Many people have lost their animals during the hurricane, and the tropical storm caused more rain than any other storm in the United States. They will be transported here to be put up for adoption.

There are also many ways to contribute and help during this time!
